Number of rooms for sale
Every room type is published as a separate ad.
The ad is tied to a room type, not to a specific room.
The channel checks the system for availability every hour and displays this information to guests.
If the guest selects dates that are already occupied in the system, but the availability information on the channel has not yet been updated, then during each booking on the AirBnb channel, the channel re-checks for availability and, accordingly, if there are no rooms, the guest will see it .
Rates
The set amount of the cost of living, taking into account the services provided and the fulfillment of the conditions for its purchase.
Only one rate can be selected in the channel settings.
For a correct connection with the Airbnb platform, the cost of the room/bed must be at least $10. In this case, we recommend to create a separate rate for this channel with a cost higher than or $10 (or equivalent to the hotel’s currency).
Special offers (promotions)
You can set % discount for bookings from 7 and 30 days.
Restrictions
In the channel settings, you can select only one rate restriction.
- Closed – closure of all rooms of the room type for sale
- Closed to arrival – closure of the room type for check-in (when booking, if the check-in date coincides with the day closed for check-in, the guest will be denied booking)
- Closed to departure – closing the room type for check-out (when booking, if the check-out date coincides with the day closed for check-out, the guest will be denied booking)
- length of stay – indicates the minimum number of days of stay per booking that cross the date on which the restriction is set
- length of stay – not applicable
- Minimum length of stay on arrival – not applicable
Reservations
If a guest does not check in, the status of “No-show” is noted on the AirBnB extranet.
The information sent by the channel to the system:
In the reservation: first name, last name, email address (assigned by the channel), phone number
In view mode, in the “Information from the channel” field: the number of guests staying, guest’s comment.
Force ad update
In case you have changed the description of the rooms, photos or other information that is uploaded to the Airbnb channel, you need to update the listing status in the channel synchronization settings.
For this:
- Go to the AirBnb channel settings section
- In the “Connect to AirBnb” section, click the “Refresh token” button
- Go to the section “List of rooms”
- Click the “Update” button for every listing.
All ads have to be in the “success (approved)” status. You can view listings on the AirBnB extranet.
Technical support staff don’t have access to extranets of accommodation facilities registered in OtelMS. The relevance of the data on the extranet must be checked independently.
